TOUR DESCRIPTION

You take a short water taxi ride to the Great Bay Boardwalk in the heart of Philipsburg, capital of Dutch Sint Maarten.  The Boardwalk, lining the large crescent-shaped beach, is your ultimate destination for an exciting variety of activities : watersports, shopping, bars & restaurants, etc.  Important landmarks + the museum are within walking distance.  Upon arrival at the beach you’ll have a lounge chair, umbrella and a refreshingly cold 6-pack bucket of soda’s, water and/or beers awaiting you.  Soak up the Caribbean sun and swim to your heart’s content, you deserve it …
Freshwater rinse and restroom facilities are available.
Your tour wristband allows use of the water taxi services freely back and forth throughout the entire day.

TOUR DESCRIPTION

Highlights :

* stop at Sunset Beach Bar at Maho Bay

The itinerary takes you full circle around the island from and to Philipsburg.
You pass Oyster Pond and Quartier d’Orleans and then enjoy a brief stop at Orient Bay.  You continue through Grand Case on to Marigot, capital of French Saint-Martin, for your second stop, at the colorful market and fashionable boutiques.
Coming up next is Sunset Beach/Maho, St. Maarten’s #1 beach, with spectacular overhead jet landings and opportunity to swim.
Via the Cole Bay Hill with breathtaking scenery and great photo ops you return to downtown Philipsburg.
You can choose to return directly to your ship or take advantage of the shopping and Boardwalk areas nearby.  If you opt to be dropped off in town, you can return to the ship via water taxi or a short and pleasant walk at your leisure.

Our Captain is a real son of the soil, with a vast knowledge of St. Maarten fishing grounds.  It’s a good boat ride out, but the catch at Saba’s “drop-off” is well worth it! Come and see the Barracuda, Yellow Snapper, Jack Fish, Pompano, Hinds, Red Snapper, in the spectacular waters of St. Maarten.
